„Die Asche in das Meer streuen war bis jetzt die beliebteste Form einer Seebestattung. Eine Salzsteinurne versenken, die sich mit der Zeit am Grund auflöst, die zweitbeliebteste Form einer Aschenbeisetzung im Meer. Mit seiner Asche ein neues Riff entstehen zu lassen ist die innovativste Entwicklung.“
Nach unserem Tod für neues Leben zu sorgen ist eine weitaus schönere Aufgabe, die wir für unseren Planeten Erde und das Meer tun können. Eine kleine Art von Amphore mit vielen Öffnungen kann für viele junge Meeres-Tiere, Fische und Pflanzen, sowie Anemonen ein neues Zuhause werden.
Genau diese Art von Bestattung durften wir vor kurzem das erste Mal im Mittelmeer durchführen und somit eine mit dem Wasser verbundene Person auf Ihrer letzten Reise begleiten.
Gemeinsam mit der Familie abgesprochen, organisierten wir den Termin, das Schiff und die komplette Riffbestattung. Mit unserer ersten eigenen Amphore, welche wir speziell entwickelt und produziert haben, ist Elisabeth Zadrobilek und ein Teammitglied nach Kroatien gefahren. Die Asche wurde hierbei mit einem Spezialgemisch in die Amphore eingebracht.
Am Hafen angekommen, gingen Sie mit der gesamten Familie an Board und suchten sich eine geeignete Stelle im Meer aus. Mit aller Würde und Ehre für den Vorausgegangenen wurde er mit einer individuellen Zeremonie, mit Musik und persönlichen Worten, verabschiedet.
Gemeinsam mit den Angehörigen wurde die Amphore anschließend dem Meer übergeben. Diese sank langsam zum Meeresboden ab und wurde somit Teil eines Riffs und sinnbildlich für das Fortbestehen des Lebens.
